In short: I'm a Creative Writing graduate from San Francisco State, with (sadly) unfinished minors in Southeast Asian studies, two years of Japanese language training, and classes in Asian history and Jewish Studies, among other subjects. I write a lot, even when it doesn't show up on the fic journal. Married, no kids. There isn't much else you need to know on the "real life" front

This journal revolves around my interests. That can include, but is not limited to: writing (fiction), Japanese history, culture, and language, Chinese history and culture, Kabbalah and mysticism, console RPGs, anime, manga, fantasy and SF, cooking and/or recipes, and perfume and incense. Occasionally I post about ball-jointed dolls. :D

Sometimes I write fandom essays, and more often they turn into rants. I started this journal because those rants had no place on my websites, or on message boards and other communities I was posting in at the time. Because I'm shooting my mouth off, I might inadvertently say something offensive; these days I pay more attention, but looking back at older entries, I realize how full of fail they are and don't want to repeat those mistakes. There were many things I wasn't aware of then that I'm more aware of now.

That said, I will attempt to take criticism gracefully. If it comes off as trolling, though, not so much.
